  1. Annual Cooling Inspection and Tune-Up - A tune-up is completed on all cooling equipment between March 1st and June 15th.
  2. Annual Heating Inspection and Tune-Up - A tune-up is completed on all heating equipment between March 1st and June 15th.
  3. Annual Duct Inspection - Full inspection of all ductwork, supply plenum, remote plenums, air grills, and filter grills is completed during the heating tune-up. Ensure your family is breathing clean air and all ductwork is functioning properly and efficiently.
  4. Bi-Annual Condensing Cleaning - Two condenser cleanings per year. One deep condenser and condenser coil cleaning, and one standard cleaning are included in your plan.
  5. Free Standard Service Calls - Pay no service fee during normal business hours - Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
  6. Free or Discounted Emergency Service Call Fees - Platinum and Gold members do not pay an emergency service call fee. The emergency fee for Silver members is discounted to $75.00. Service calls dispatched after 4:00 pm Monday-Friday and weekends (excluding holidays)
  7. Discounted Holiday Service Call Fees - Discounted Holiday rates (Platinum $150.00, Gold $150.00, Silver $175.00 for major holidays, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day).
  8. Priority Scheduling - All repair requests are scheduled within 24 hours of the request, excluding holidays.
  9. Parts and Labor Discounts - Platinum and Gold members receive a 10% discount on parts and labor, and Silver members receive a 5% discount on parts and labor.
  10. Equipment Discount - Platinum and Gold members receive 3% off all system and equipment change-outs and upgrades.
  11. Extended Labor Warranty - Platinum and Gold members receive a two-year labor warranty on all repairs and system change-outs.
  12. Annual Purchase Credit - Annual purchase credit accumulated every year is completed as a maintenance customer. Annual purchase credit can be used towards a complete system upgrade. Platinum and Gold Customers $150 per year, and Silver Members $50 per year.
  13. Generator Maintenance - Diamond Members Only - Annual Generac Routing Maintenance. Does not include excessive run-time maintenance. Discounted additional maintenance and repairs. Battery replacement not included.

Annual Cooling Tune-Up Inspection Checklist


  1. Condenser Fan Motor - Check for proper operation
  2. Blower Motor - Measure amperage and voltage for proper operation
  3. Thermostat - Test thermostat for proper operation, calibrate, and level
  4. Air Filter - Check existing air filter
  5. Bearings - Inspect bearings for wear and lubricate
  6. Evaporator Coil - Inspect evaporator coil
  7. Return - Confirm proper return air and size
  8. Condenser Coils - Inspect and clean condenser coils (2x per year)
  9. Refrigerant - Monitor operating pressures for refrigerant, visually inspect all fittings for signs of oil and/or leakage
  10. Disconnect - Inspect the disconnect box for proper rating and safe installation
  11. Electrical - Inspect electrical wiring, tighten connections, and check for exposed or damaged wiring
  12. Contactors - Test and inspect contactors for burned, pitted contacts
  13. Capacitors - Inspect and test capacitors
  14. Fan Blade - Inspect the fan blade
  15. Overflow Switch - Inspect for the presence of the overflow switch and confirm its function
  16. Valves - Inspect service valves for proper operation
  17. Ductwork and Plenums - Inspect for tears, proper hanging, sealing, air leaks, mold, and mildew
  18. Compressor - Monitor, measure amperage and voltage draw, and wiring connections
  19. Suction Line - Inspect the suction line for proper fittings

Maintenance Plan Terms and Conditions


Excluded Services

Membership price does not include recommended or additional repairs, filter replacement, or any applicable sales tax.


Drain Lines

Texan Mechanical AC & Heating does not warranty any existing parts or equipment, lack of maintenance, or drain line issues. Drain lines are cleared (2) times per year during routine maintenance visits. Any drain line issues outside of normal maintenance are billed at the reduced member rate.


Annual Purchase Credit

Annual Purchase Credits are accumulated for every year of service. Credits can be used toward the price of a system replacement only.


Emergency Service Calls

Discounted emergency service call rates apply to all service requests after 4:00 pm Monday-Friday, and Saturday and Sunday appointments. Discounted emergency service fees do not apply to Federal Holidays, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.


Active Agreement

In order to receive all benefits of the Preferred Customer Program, the customer must maintain an "active" status as a Preferred Customer for a full 12 months. Active status requires all monthly, quarterly, or bi-annual payments to be made via automatic draft.


Insufficient Funds

All insufficient payment drafts are subject to a $50.00 late fee if not paid within 7 days of the draft date.


Delinquent Payments

If the maintenance plan payment becomes delinquent for over 30 days on any maintenance plan payment, the plan will be canceled, and all services billed in full to the customer. Payment is required within 30 days of cancellation. Failure to make payment for services rendered will result in a judgment filed with the closest precinct to your property, and a mechanic's lien will be filed on your property, with all court costs and filing fees included in the judgment.


Cancellation

Plans will automatically renew after 12 months if no notice to cancel is received. To cancel a maintenance plan, written notice must be provided by the customer 30 days prior to the renewal date. The plan cannot be canceled during the 12-month period.


Early Termination Fee

If the plan is cancelled before the expiration date, all remaining installments must be paid in full in addition to a $150 early termination fee.


Tune-Ups

Every maintenance agreement includes the spring tune-up for the cooling system and the fall tune-up for the heating system. It is the customer's responsibility to contact our office to schedule a tune-up during the active tune-up time. Texan Mechanical AC & Heating will send multiple reminders, including emails, phone calls, and text messages from our office or dispatch system to set appointments. If the customer fails to comply with bi-annual maintenance, the customer will remain responsible for the outstanding balance for the membership program.


Active Tune-Up Time

Cooling tune-ups should be scheduled and completed between March 1st and June 15th. Heating tune-ups should be scheduled and completed between October 1st and December 31st. Failure to schedule and complete your bi-annual tune-ups during the active tune-up times will result in an additional fee of $50 for standard maintenance.
